Come join our team at Float 207! We currently offer flotation therapy, massage therapy, contrast therapy and infrared saunas. We are looking for a skilled Licensed Massage Therapist who shares our interest in personal wellness, with a drive to learn and be part of this emerging industry!

POSITION SUMMARY

The LMT will provide treatment to clients to relieve pain, improve circulation, increase relaxation and aid in general wellness.

Pay: $31.00 - $34.00 per hour

Preferred modalities are:

Deep Tissue, Myofascial release, Sport, Swedish, Prenatal, Reflexology, Thera-gun, Hot Stones, Cupping

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintain client schedule & outreach.

2. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols.

3. Work with Manager to order supplies necessary to provide services; including but not limited to linens and creams.

4. Maintain professional and technical knowledge.

5. Remain current on massage techniques.

6. Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.

7. Complies with all policies and protocols.

8. Performs additional duties or projects as assigned by supervisor. Will be a Float207 employee and have additional tasks if not booked with clients.

9. Need availability for evenings and weekends.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or GED certificate. Or a combination of education and experience.
• A minimum 500 hours of massage training from an accredited school.
• Licensed in good standing as a Massage Therapist with the State of Maine.
• Board Certified
• Possess strong communication, analytical, and observation skills
• Demonstrate attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
• Maintains all current credentialing requirements.
