Weekend Receptionist – Falmouth

Location: Falmouth, Maine Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays Position Type: Part-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, reliable Weekend Receptionist to join our Falmouth team. This role is perfect for someone who loves a fast-paced salon environment and wants real, hands-on exposure to the industry — including current or aspiring cosmetology students looking to build a path toward a full-time stylist career.

What You'll Do

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and help create a welcoming first impression
• Manage laundry — washing, folding, and restocking towels and capes throughout the day
• Keep the salon clean and organized, including stations, waiting areas, and common spaces
• Assist stylists with day-to-day tasks to keep operations running smoothly
• Support general front-desk and salon upkeep duties as needed

Growth Opportunity

During slower stretches when receptionist duties aren't needed, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Job shadow our stylists and observe real client services
• Receive hands-on education and training from our team
• Build foundational skills in preparation for a full-time stylist position upon graduating cosmetology school

This is a great opportunity for someone currently in cosmetology school who wants to get a head start learning the salon business from the ground up.
