Established healing center in Yarmouth, ME seeking a licensed massage therapist (LMT) who is passionate about their craft!

Primary duties involve providing massage therapy for military veterans; private pay clients also welcome. LMT will need to submit chart notes after each session (in the case of services billed to insurance). You will not need to deal with any other aspects of the billing process, we will take care of this for you! This is a great opportunity to give back to those who have served.

This is an independent contractor position. Looking for someone to work a consistent schedule 10-18 massage hours/week. Flexible work hours possible. You retain 100% of your tips.

Requirements / Job duties

• Active massage therapy license in State of Maine
• Your own professional liability insurance 
• Perform any range of massage therapy techniques billable under CPT code 97124 for services billed to insurance (typically veterans)
• Clear, respectful and professional communication skills
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent patient care
• Maintain treatment records (SOAP notes)
• NPI# preferred (we’ll help you with this free process if you don’t have one!)
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism
• Recognition of and ability to provide the value and benefit of massage therapy to promote: increased mobility, pain reduction, reduction of patient reliance on pain medications, improved mental and physical wellbeing, and more!
