Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled, trustworthy, responsible, teamplayer and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of various massage techniques and be able to provide therapeutic and relaxing treatments to our clients. As a Massage Therapist, you will help clients alleviate pain, reduce stress, and improve their overall wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Client Assessment:** Conduct initial consultations to understand clients' needs and medical history.
- **Massage Techniques:** Perform a variety of massage techniques including Deep tissue, Swedish, and other specialized methods tailored to clients' needs.
- **Treatment Plans:** Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients' conditions and preferences.
- **Client Communication:** Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on post-treatment care and exercises.
- **Record Keeping:** Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment details and progress notes.
- **Sanitation:** Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the massage therapy area and equipment.
- **Professional Development:** Stay updated with the latest techniques and trends in massage therapy through continuous education and training.
Qualifications:
- **Certification:** Must be a licensed Massage Therapist with certification from an accredited institution.
- **Experience:** Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- **Knowledge:** Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques.
- **Skills:** Excellent manual dexterity, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- **Physical Stamina:** Ability to perform massage therapy for extended periods.
