Job Description:



As the Human Resources Generalist, you will play a vital role in everything from the hiring of new employees to handling the Benefits for the company. The ideal candidate is someone with prior experience operating in a startup environment handling multiple different aspects of the Human Resources world.


  • As the Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for handling all phases of the onboarding process

  • Manage the company’s recruiting efforts by writing job postings, screening resumes, phone screens, scheduling interviews, etc.

  • Actively interview  with potential candidates and prepare all new hire documentation including offer letters, background screenings, and benefits packages

  • Manage the orientation for new hires and assist with any questions that may arise

  • Manage all employee terminations, including exit interviews, COBRA administration, etc.

  • Maintain the company database by ensuring that all employee files are up to date and filed correctly

  • Handle all benefits management by keeping track of new elections and answering any questions that come your way, & overseeing open enrollment, etc.

  • Responsible for staying informed of all new federal and state employee laws and regulations

  • Work in collaboration with management with any special projects that come your way

Qualifications for the Human Resources Coordinator:

  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience required

  • 1 year experience with processing payroll is desired

  • Knowledge of Mindbody software is a plus

  • Must have experience and desire to creatively and actively perform full cycle recruitment

  • Experience conducting interviews and reviewing candidate resumes

  • Experience with benefits and maintaining HR systems

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, and written, including strong interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Proven organizational, critical thinking and administrative skills with keen attention to detail and strong time-management
