Our year-round, busy day spa located in Portland Maine’s beautiful Old Port setting, is an oasis for massage, facial, waxing, and nail treatments. Our dedicated, professional team of employees focus on creating a beautiful, tranquil, and healing environment for our client’s wellness journey.
We are currently hiring for a full-time or part-time Licensed Nail Technician to join our team! Saturdays are required. The ideal candidate will be skilled and reliable with a client-focused approach to providing high-quality services. We employ Front Desk Receptionists, Spa Laundry Attendants, and a Marketing Specialist, so booking appointments, doing laundry, and advertising responsibilities are not required by the individual nail technicians.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide professional, high-quality, safe nail services and treatments to clients.
- Begin and end nail services and treatments on time.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment, by upholding standards of cleaning, disinfection, sanitation, and sterilization of tools and equipment as directed by established policies and procedures.
- Approach all clients and employees in a friendly, professional, positive, and service-oriented manner. Actively listen to clients' needs in order to meet or exceed expectations.
- Recommends and sells products to further the client’s spa experience.
- Attends staff meetings and trainings as required.
- Follows all other responsibilities as outlined in the job description and daily responsibilities documents.

Qualifications/Skills
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must possess current State of Maine Nail Technologist or Cosmetologist License.
- Must be reliable and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
