We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team either part time or full time in our Portsmouth, NH location or our Amesbury, MA location .

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, with a focus on patient service and pain management. This role involves providing therapeutic treatments to clients in a professional environment, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting overall wellness.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and medical histories to tailor treatments effectively.

Perform a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and other modalities as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.

Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices.

Collaborate with other health professionals within the med spa to provide comprehensive care.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices.

Maintain accurate client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, using appropriate medical terminology.

Qualifications

Valid state license in massage therapy.

Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to massage therapy.

Experience in customer service with excellent interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with occupational health standards and pain management techniques.

Ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their treatment options and expectations.
