- We are seeking a licensed massage therapist. If you are a free spirit and love variation in your work environment this unique massage therapy job may be for you.
As a mobile therapist, you will be providing therapeutic massage in the comfort of our clients' homes in Newburyport and surrounding aareas. An interest in deepening your knowledge base and skill set working with prenatal and postpartum mothers is preferred.
The right hire is warm, self motivated, punctual, organized and professional, with great communications skills and stamina.
Responsibilities:
Arrive at clients home 15 min prior to appointment start time.
Set up and break down massage table, linens, music, etc.
Tailor each session to meet the individual needs of the client, utilizing a variety of techniques (Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, etc.)
Offer specialized services for perinatal mothers, including prenatal and postpartum massage.
Create excellent client experience through friendly and accommodating disposition.
Follow all practice policies and protocols and adheres to legal and ethical standards of practice.
Assist in the cleanliness of equipment and ensures the clients home is left the way it was found upon arrival.
Maintain accurate client records and treatment notes. and tracks mileage through Rootbloom software.
Keep intake forms organized and concealed.
Keep linens in a clean organized space while not in use.
Keep up with industry knowledge and maintain licensure.
