As a Medical Nail Technician at our Spa you are on the forefront of esthetics and medical treatment of the skin and nails of the lower extremity. You are among the most highly trained in your field and are expected to give superior care and service to your client. Under the supervision of Dr. Julie, you will use your knowledge of the lower extremity to identify irregularities in the appearance and function of the integumentary system of the lower legs, ankles and feet.

Job Requirements

• Listen carefully to client concerns, requested outcome and determine appropriate service for every client after a thorough client consultation, and if needed, in consultation with Dr. Julie

• Provide an exceptional experience that exceeds expectations

  • Provide expert nail care, nail application and polish

  • Complete therapy foot massages

  • Complete skin therapy 

• Recommend appropriate home care or additional treatments

  • Demonstrate product knowledge 

  • Be able to fully explain at home treatment requirements and coach client, answer all questions to ensure adherence

• Educate and actively promote services, products, treatments, and programs

• Ensure the proper standards of sterilization and sanitation are being followed

• Maintain positive and professional conversation with guests

• Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality

Qualifications 

• Appropriate state licensure and cosmetology certifications

• Ability to be exposed to various chemicals and fragrances used in salon services

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Advanced knowledge of nail trends and best practices, with emphasis on natural nail care treatments

• CPR, First Aid, and AED Certifications (must be obtained within 60 days of hire if don't have, which we provide)

• Team player, willing to cover or trade shifts when necessary

• Dependable, punctual, flexible with schedule changes, cancellations and additions

• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary
