Detailed below is a Job Description for the Front Desk Manager, as it relates to our expectations, the tasks and responsibilities of the position.

Qualities:

The Front Desk Manager supports the CEO in the day to day operational aspects of Tryst Studio. This position requires someone who is ambitious, a self-starter who doesn’t require constant supervision, an excellent communicator who upholds the values of Tryst, is discrete, garners respect, is confident, and a consummate professional. When the CEO is out, it is expected this person will step up to ensure the store runs just as smoothly and efficiently as when she is there.

Responsibilities:

The Front Desk Manager is responsible for managing the front desk team, in particular training, scheduling and general supervision.

They ensure all opening and closing duties of the Front Desk are completed correctly and the Tryst experience is always maintained to the highest standards.

They oversee the implementation and ongoing management of the Square Retail Platform, and are responsible for identifying issues and resolving them internally or acting as the liaison with Square representatives.

Review daily Sales reports, opening and closing cash draws and POS, identifying and correcting any discrepancies.

At Tryst we pride ourselves on exemplary customer service - The FOH Manager should represent the pinnacle of customer service, be a role model and provide ongoing leadership to Front Desk employees.

Enforce and monitor all health, safety and sanitation standards in the studio. Ensure the reception desk, waiting area and retail displays are keep clean, tidy and beautifully maintained in keeping with Tryst standards.

Be familiar with the State Inspection Guidelines.

Work closely with the Estheticians to provide a seamless experience for Clients.

Ordering and inventory management of Front of House stationery items and general cleaning supplies.

Ensure all Employee Records are kept up to date, including submission and approval of Time Off Requests, scheduling alterations, and so on.

Be an active outbound marketer of Tryst, open to new ways we can present our business to the world through photos, new product ideas and networking opportunities.

The Front Desk Manager must be familiar with Email, Microsoft Word, Excel and the Square retail platform.

Prior experience in a Customer Service Management is preferred.

Job Type: Part to Full-time


Salary: starting at $20.00 per hour
