Nail Technician

As a seasonal resort (May through late October) with an outstanding team of dedicated and motivated staff, we take great pride in our environment and history, while providing exceptional service for our guests. We employ over 150 hospitality professionals each season, with hiring priority given to those who are available to work from mid-May through October.

JOB SUMMARY

Position purpose:   To provide guests with positive, pleasant and professional nail service experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demonstrate respect, sensitivity, and concern for guests' needs with a professional and pleasant manner
• Practice universal health care protocol while dealing with guests and coworkers
• Maintain schedules and work hours as scheduled
• Adhere to COVID-19 Guidelines 
• Acquire product knowledge and meet retail sales objectives
• Comprehend and abide by Fairwinds Spa policy and procedures.
• Set up and break down assigned service room; maintain neat and well-stocked room
• Complete and submit necessary paperwork
• Attend departmental meetings and workshops as directed
• Exercise dependability and willingness to work with schedule flexibility
• Maintain a physically fit and professional appearance.
• Interact professionally and with sensitivity to the needs of the guests and co-workers.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:  CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Must possess a current Nail Technician License issued by the State of Maine
• Must be able to perform assorted nail services
• Must possess and display a cooperative and positive attitude
• Must be dependable and able to adjust to schedule changes, including cancellations, short notice bookings
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
