Estheticians administer special care to a client’s skin providing improvement in skin health and appearance and work in a team environment that promotes a cooperative, learning environment.
What you will do (includes but not limited to):
You will communicate a professional skin analysis to the guests, skillfully perform facials, peels, and deep exfoliation with the guests’ comfort in mind. You will also provide detoxifying/hydrating body wraps and skillfully perform body waxing while maintaining a professional image as guests may feel vulnerable while in varying stages of undress. Gently apply lotions, oils and skin treatments and incorporate aromatherapies while demonstrating the standards of the resort. Properly exercise all sanitation standards of the state licensing board and resort guidelines. Maintain a working knowledge of services and products to encourage up-sales, cross-sales, and product sales.
Qualities and characteristics of a successful resort Esthetician include being friendly, knowledgeable, punctual, and gentle.
Minimum requirements include knowledge of Contraindications; which products are most appropriate for skin types, conditions; strong English skills.
Skills and abilities include highly skilled, precise, manual dexterity.
Minimum education requirement: New Hampshire Board Licensed.
Minimum experience is preferred 1 year but will train ideal candidate.
Physical elements include sitting/standing for extended periods; steady physical exertion; reaching high/low areas; moving safely and quickly around equipment; various fumes, odors, chemicals.
